Description For Engineer I / II, Software Engineering

Saviynt, a leading identity authority platform, is seeking an Engineer I/II to join their Software Engineering team. The company's Enterprise Identity Cloud platform helps modern enterprises tackle security and compliance challenges while enabling digital transformation. As a key member of their distributed global R&D team, you'll work on cutting-edge identity governance (IGA), application access, cloud security, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support, using modern technologies like Java, Spring Framework, and MySQL.

Responsibilities For Engineer I / II, Software Engineering

  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Develop state-of-the-art enterprise identity cloud solutions
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Maintain existing services and start programs from scratch
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
  • Follow agile principles

Requirements For Engineer I / II, Software Engineering

Java
MySQL
  • 2-4 years of software engineering experience
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming using Java (Spring Framework, Hibernate, REST and Microservices)
  • Experience with core Java, SQL (MySQL)
  • Excellent logical and analytical skills with clear English communication
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, XP)
  • Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab), automatic deployments, continuous integration
  • Experience using IntelliJ or Eclipse/My Eclipse IDE, writing Junit test cases
  • Excellent negotiation and consensus-building capabilities
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
