Responsibilities For Senior Cloud Security Engineer
- Conduct penetration testing of cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
- Perform security assessments on Kubernetes clusters (EKS and AKS)
- Identify and exploit misconfigurations in Kubernetes clusters
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities across cloud deployments
- Prepare comprehensive security reports and communicate findings
- Collaborate with Cloud Ops, DevOps, and Engineering teams
- Leverage and customize security tools and develop custom scripts
- Participate in threat modelling exercises
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop remediation strategies for security risks
- Mentor junior penetration testers
Requirements For Senior Cloud Security Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in cloud security (AWS and Azure)
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture
- In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Platform
- Experience with cloud native security services
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container security
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash Shell)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Helm)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Security, Azure Security, CCSP) preferred
- Excellent communication skills
