Classified Application Engineer - On Prem

Sayari, a Washington D.C.-based company, is seeking a Classified Software Engineer to join their Solutions Engineering team. The role focuses on developing new features across their technology stack for government clients in a classified environment. The position requires working with a sophisticated platform that processes terabytes of data from hundreds of sources across 200+ countries and 30 languages.

The tech stack is modern and robust, built primarily with TypeScript and running on Kubernetes, supported by PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Memgraph. The platform specializes in exploring large knowledge graphs derived from millions of structured and unstructured records. Engineers have the opportunity to contribute to open-source projects, including their WebGL-powered network visualization library, Trellis.

This role is perfect for a process-oriented self-starter with strong software engineering experience who is interested in tackling problems related to corporate transparency, anti-money laundering, sanctions evasions, and combating financial fraud. The position requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance and is based onsite in McLean, VA.

The compensation package is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $215,000 - $235,000, plus bonus and equity.
