This role combines software engineering excellence with production operations expertise, focusing on building and maintaining resilient backend services for VFX pipelines.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and visual effects, where you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing critical services that power high-end VFX production. The position requires expertise in Python development, strong understanding of API design, and experience with modern DevOps practices.

Working at Scanline VFX means joining a global team with studios worldwide, including locations in London, Los Angeles, Montreal, Seoul, and Vancouver. The company culture encourages exploration and innovation, welcoming new ideas from all team members. As part of Netflix's technical ecosystem, you'll have access to advanced infrastructure and resources to support your work.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
