The role involves comprehensive project coordination, from initial setup to closeout, utilizing modern construction management software like Procore. You'll be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating with team members, and ensuring smooth communication flow throughout project duration. This position is designed as a stepping stone toward becoming an Assistant Project Manager.

Responsibilities For Project Engineer

  • Complete new project updates in Procore system
  • Distribute initial drawings and plans to team members
  • Assist Project Manager with insurance and permits
  • Schedule calls and meetings with internal and external project team members
  • Assist with buyout process
  • Review, process, and distribute submittals via Procore
  • Create and distribute weekly reports
  • Process and maintain RFIs in Procore
  • Prepare and process subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Assist in preparation of closeout package process
  • Occasional travel to project site as needed

Requirements For Project Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Excellent MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • MS Project, Procore, and Timberline/Sage experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time well
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Team-player and ability to build relationships
