The Senior DevSecOps Engineer role involves supporting development and managing ongoing operations for a modern Digital Engineering infrastructure. This person will be responsible for implementing and managing a digital engineering environment, configuring and maintaining cloud services, and managing CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) baseline. The ideal candidate will have experience working with software development teams, maintaining compliance with cybersecurity controls, monitoring operations, and improving development processes.

- Providing technical expertise in DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools
- Supporting digital engineering strategy and governance
- Analyzing user needs and developing system requirements
- Leading sprint planning events for digital engineering infrastructure
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple software engineering teams
- Implementing automated testing tools for SQA and Cybersecurity requirements
- Leading complex CI/CD infrastructure projects involving on-premise and cloud solutions

Responsibilities For Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Temp to Perm)
- Provide technical subject matter expertise in applying DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools
- Support digital engineering strategy and governance development and implementation
- Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies
- Organize and lead sprint planning events for building out digital engineering infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD) software development pipelines
- Implement and apply automated testing tools to support software testing for SQA and Cybersecurity requirements
- Lead complex CI/CD infrastructure projects requiring both on-premise and cloud solution development and integration
- Guide the design, build and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in multiple software integration and test environments
Requirements For Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Temp to Perm)
- 6+ years experience working in Software Development support
- 3+ years as a DevSecOps Engineer or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD orchestrator tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven, Ant)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tools
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and artifact repository
- Experience with at least one configuration/deployment management system (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, Salt)
- Program lifecycle experience from concept development to decommission
- Strong experience working with Agile and DevSecOps principles
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) (preferred)
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills (preferred)
