Description For Cloud Engineer Associate/Staff
SciTec is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) under the NOVASTAR contract. The role involves writing Docker containers, working with Kubernetes platform capabilities, and facilitating streamlined use of AWS cloud. Key responsibilities include installation and management of cluster services, communicating effectively with peers and decision-makers, and automating complex workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in software delivery to DoD public cloud regions, strong Linux and networking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. SciTec offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, 401K contributions, and various insurance coverages. Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer Associate/Staff
- Write Docker containers and work with Kubernetes platform capabilities

Requirements For Cloud Engineer Associate/Staff
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 2+ years of professional work experience writing Docker containers
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash
- 2+ years of experience managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
