Senior Systems Engineer

SciTec is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for their Defense, Intelligence, & Space Solutions department. This full-time, on-site position is located in Boulder, Colorado, United States.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
• 10 years of professional experience in engineering, computer science, or remote sensing
• 5 years of experience specifically in systems engineering
• 2 years of experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, including U.S. citizenship and passing a background check

Key responsibilities and requirements:

• Apply systems engineering principles to complex defense and space-related projects
• Utilize MBSE methodologies to design and develop sophisticated systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Maintain and potentially upgrade existing DoD security clearance
• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the defense and space sectors
