This role focuses on integrating advanced missile warning software systems and offers an opportunity to contribute to essential national defense projects. The position involves working with Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor systems for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Battlespace Awareness.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or integration, possess a TOP SECRET clearance, and hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. They will lead integration efforts across software and hardware components, develop test strategies, and coordinate with various teams to ensure system functionality.
SciTec offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $131,000 to $185,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including ESOP, 401k with company contribution, full medical coverage, and various insurance options. Responsibilities For Senior Systems Integration Engineer
- Oversee and execute system integration tasks across software and hardware components
- Develop integration plans and test strategies to ensure system functionality and interoperability
- Coordinate closely with systems engineers, software developers, and test teams to manage integration activities efficiently
- Conduct integration and testing of complex systems, ensuring compliance with system requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members involved in system integration efforts
- Document integration processes and results, and present findings to stakeholders
Requirements For Senior Systems Integration Engineer
- A current TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmental Information
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering or systems integration
- Proven experience in integrating complex software systems with hardware components
- Strong understanding of system integration principles, testing methodologies, and software development processes
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
