Responsibilities For Staff Cybersecurity Engineer
- Evaluating customer cybersecurity requirements and identifying technical and procedural measures
- Implement, document, and validate cybersecurity controls
- Providing input to software product design to improve product hardening
- Analysis of emerging advanced cybersecurity threats and development of countermeasures
- Management and enhancement of secure software development lifecycle process
- Identification and implementation of improvements to software development lifecycle and DevSecOps technologies
Requirements For Staff Cybersecurity Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, software development, computer science, or engineering
- Must be capable of qualifying for a SECRET DoD or DoE security clearance
- Experience influencing teams outside of cybersecurity to improve security posture
- Must satisfy DoD 8570.01M Information Assurance Technician Level III training requirements
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
