Description For Staff/Senior Staff Cybersecurity Engineer

SciTec is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Boulder, CO office. This role focuses on designing and verifying secure implementation of software applications, supporting development teams in meeting customer cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities For Staff/Senior Staff Cybersecurity Engineer

  • Work with software development teams to implement Cybersecurity controls throughout a complex software baseline
  • Analyze design constraints, analyze trade-offs in design, and consider lifecycle support for Cybersecurity control implementations
  • Configure third-party software dependencies in accordance with DISA STIGs
  • Maintain and develop internal tooling to support collection of automated scan data
  • Provide input to Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation
  • Maintain and refine Configuration Management processes

Requirements For Staff/Senior Staff Cybersecurity Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, software development, computer science, or engineering

  • Ability to satisfy DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification requirements
  • Detail oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
