The Field Service Engineer role is crucial for maintaining and servicing vending equipment to the highest standards. The position focuses on minimizing equipment failures through proper service and maintenance, with the ultimate goal of achieving zero client complaints regarding technical reliability within their assigned area.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults across various vending equipment, ensuring first-time fix whenever possible, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities For Field Service Engineer

  • Diagnose and repair faults on a complete range of Vending Equipment
  • Complete work at first visit when possible to prevent further breakdowns
  • Review and prioritize repair of equipment with persistent breakdowns
  • Maintain access to technical manuals/documentation
  • Attend training courses to maintain high workmanship standards
  • Maintain good customer relations and adhere to customer procedures
  • Monitor and address potential customer dissatisfaction
  • Maintain company vehicle in roadworthy condition

Requirements For Field Service Engineer

  • Full UK driving license with at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points
  • Strong electrical knowledge/experience through practical work experience or qualification
  • Technical background with strong fault finding and diagnosis skills
  • Knowledge of safe work practices with electrical equipment
  • Right to Work in the UK permanently
  • Customer-focused with smart and professional appearance
  • Ability to form and maintain working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work on own initiative
