The Field Service Engineer role is crucial to maintaining the company's extensive network of vending equipment. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults across a complete range of vending machines, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of Selecta to many clients, making customer service skills as important as technical expertise. Responsibilities For Field Service Engineer - Wakefield

  • Diagnose and repair faults on a complete range of Vending Equipment
  • Complete work at first visit when possible to prevent further breakdowns
  • Review and prioritize repair of equipment with persistent breakdowns
  • Maintain access to technical manuals/documentation
  • Attend training courses to maintain high workmanship standards
  • Maintain good customer relations and follow customer procedures
  • Maintain company vehicle in roadworthy condition
  • Monitor and address potential customer dissatisfaction

Requirements For Field Service Engineer - Wakefield

  • Full UK driving license with at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points
  • Strong electrical knowledge/experience through practical work or qualification
  • Technical background with strong fault finding and diagnosis skills
  • Knowledge of safe work practices with electrical equipment
  • Right to Work in the UK permanently
