The role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$150,000 and requires 4+ years of experience in data modeling and quantitative analysis.
The position involves working with stakeholders to implement data modeling and algorithm development, supporting customer requests, and optimizing model pipelines. You'll be responsible for developing core products, identifying data relationships, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python/R, SQL, and statistical modeling, preferably with an advanced degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine product concepts, and implement data modeling and algorithm development
- Supporting advanced customer requests
- Creating, customizing, and optimizing model, metrics, and implementation pipelines
- Writing tests for implementation of machine learning models
- Developing the heart of Sensor Tower's products
- Identifying relationships within large and seemingly unrelated data
- Analyzing public data for current and future projects
- Working with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and providing optimization solutions
- Creating quality indicators and diagnostics tools
- Communicating across multiple time zones, countries, and job functions
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- 4+ years experience in business intelligence, data modeling, machine learning algorithm development, or quantitative analysis
- Excellent data science and machine learning engineering skills
- Knowledge of Python or R, Jupyter, SQL
- Knowledge of common statistical modeling techniques
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (Tableau)
- Strong presentation skills
- Flexible mindset and ability to prototype quickly
- MS or PhD preferred in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related field
