Description For Production / Process Engineer

Sentec, a Swiss-American medical technology company founded in 1999, is seeking a Production/Process Engineer to join their team in Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland. The company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and distributing cutting-edge respiratory care technologies, providing non-invasive, reliable monitoring systems and effective solutions for respiratory therapy to medical professionals worldwide.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development and manufacturing, being responsible for introducing new medical devices into production and developing innovative production processes. This position requires expertise in industrialization, automation, and process validation, ensuring compliance with FDA, MDR, and ISO 13485 standards.

The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical technology in a meaningful position where your work directly impacts patient care and saves lives. Key responsibilities include developing operating resources, managing production processes both in-house and with suppliers, and working closely with R&D, Sourcing, QA, and Production teams. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities For Production / Process Engineer

Requirements For Production / Process Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or comparable field
  • Experience with microtechnology is advantageous
  • Minimum three years of experience in a comparable position
  • Knowledge of FDA, MDR and ISO 13485 standards for medical technology
