As an Enterprise Security Engineer at Sentry, you'll play a crucial role in protecting the company's digital assets and maintaining a robust security infrastructure. You'll be part of the Enterprise Security program, where you'll define and implement security objectives, manage critical security controls, and work cross-functionally with various teams to enhance the organization's security posture.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining essential security controls like SSO and 2SV, managing endpoint security, and working with modern infrastructure-as-code tooling. Your work will directly impact the security of Sentry's products and corporate environment.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 and a flexible hybrid work arrangement. You'll be based in Sentry's San Francisco office, with the option to work remotely three days per week. Responsibilities For Enterprise Security Engineer

  • Serve as part of the Enterprise Security program on Sentry's security team
  • Define Security Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Objective Key Results (OKRs)
  • Secure Sentry's software, networks, infrastructure, and customer information
  • Improve the overall security posture at Sentry
  • Work with teams across the company to implement proactive security measures
  • Implement technical controls to reduce risk in the corporate environment
  • Manage corporate security controls like SSO, 2SV, and network authentication
  • Work on endpoint security
  • Work with device management software and infrastructure as code tooling

Requirements For Enterprise Security Engineer

  • Master's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2 years of Information Security or Information Technology experience
  • Experience building processes, workflows, and runbooks
  • Experience running security incidents from start to end
  • Experience with SIEM tools
  • Experience with Vulnerability & Patch Management Tools (Rapid7, Tenable.io)
  • Experience with Endpoint Management Tools (Microsoft Intune, Kesaya)
  • Ability to create and maintain security documentation
