Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for our Product Foundation team, which consists of two specialized pods: Alerts and Ecosystem.

The role involves working with our open-source codebase, building features using React (TypeScript) and Django (Python). You'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across the entire stack, from event ingestion to search and storage systems. The position requires a product-minded engineer who can collaborate effectively with Product and Design teams.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining high engineering standards through testing and monitoring, mentoring team members, and creating user-focused documentation. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience, strong Django/Python skills, and working knowledge of React/TypeScript.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $200,000, along with comprehensive benefits including equity grants, health insurance, and paid time off. You'll work in a hybrid environment, with in-person collaboration three days a week.
