Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for our Product Foundation team, split between Alerts and Ecosystem pods. The role involves working with our open-source codebase, building integrations, and maintaining core platform features.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining critical features using React (TypeScript) and Django (Python). You'll work on high-impact projects across the entire stack, from event ingestion to search and storage systems. The position requires a product-minded approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to mentor team members.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience, strong Django/Python background, and working knowledge of React/TypeScript. You'll thrive in this role if you're passionate about developer tooling, enjoy collaborative work with Product and Design teams, and are excited about diving deep into system architectures.
