Senior Software Engineer, APIs and Integrations

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Ecosystem team, you'll be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining features/integrations with other SaaS services using Django (Python) and React (TypeScript) in our open-source codebase
• Building and maintaining API tooling and related services, and helping engineers across the company to adopt them in their teams
• Designing and implementing scalable interfaces that can be reused within broad categories of SaaS apps
• Researching other SaaS apps to find the best way to augment Sentry's product experience
• Contributing to engineering goals and advocating for your ideas in the product roadmap
• Building tests, setting up monitoring and alerts to maintain high engineering standards
• Reviewing code and mentoring less-experienced engineers

The ideal candidate is a product-minded software engineer with excellent organization skills, high ownership, and a desire to improve dev tooling. You should have 8+ years of experience building user-facing web applications and APIs, with substantial experience in backend frameworks (preferably Django) and some frontend experience.

Sentry offers a competitive salary range of $189,000 to $214,000 CAD for this role, along with benefits including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage.
