Senior Software Engineer (Go), SDK

As a Senior Software Engineer in our SDK team at Sentry, you'll join a cross-functional group responsible for the client-facing operations. Your focus will be on building and maintaining our Go SDK and supporting the ecosystem surrounding it. You'll work to improve the quality of life for Go developers by creating best-in-class application monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Improving and evolving our Go SDK
• Collaborating with maintainers of upstream packages
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Creating strong documentation
• Working with product teams to cater to the Golang ecosystem
• Assisting Customer Operations with SDK-related issues

The ideal candidate takes pride in building delightful features, is excited about contributing to open source full-time, and enjoys interacting with the user base. You'll be part of a modern software development team that iterates and ships code rapidly.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years as a software engineer in application or library development
• 4+ years of professional experience with Go
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Living in Vienna, Austria, or willing to relocate
