We're seeking a Support Engineer to join Codecov, our all-in-one code coverage and quality solution trusted by 29,000+ organizations.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of technical expertise and customer success, working with our open-source community through GitHub and Discord channels. You'll become a product expert, helping users optimize their CI pipelines and code hosting platforms while contributing to our knowledge base and internal documentation.

The role requires a unique blend of technical acumen and customer service excellence. You'll be responsible for triaging technical issues, reproducing bugs, and ensuring our customers have the best possible experience with our platform. Your background in supporting CI/CD pipelines and code hosting platforms will be essential as you help shape the future of code coverage solutions.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer

  • Become a Codecov product expert
  • Answer inbound Support requests about Codecov's product and features
  • Triage, reproduce and report product bugs
  • Manage and curate customer feedback in open source repos
  • Contribute to knowledge base documentation, internal guides and demos

Requirements For Support Engineer

Python
JavaScript
  • 4+ years experience in Customer Support or customer happiness roles
  • Experience with CI pipelines, source control tooling, and code hosting platforms
  • Understanding of SQL and log aggregation/exploration tools
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices and tools
  • Experience writing and debugging code
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be in San Francisco or willing to relocate
