Responsibilities For QA Engineer, API

  • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in APIs
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
  • Extend Test Framework for API's and Front end/Backend testing
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for autonomous vehicle software and systems
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing
  • Present test artifacts and test reports for release readiness
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams

Requirements For QA Engineer, API

Python
JavaScript
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Software testing or Quality Assurance
  • Proficient in API testing, automation with basic programming skills
  • Strong understanding of API testing principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and body formats
  • Safety first mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
