Serve Robotics is revolutionizing urban delivery with their innovative sidewalk robot solution. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll join a team of tech industry veterans working on cutting-edge robotics technology that's already making commercial deliveries in Los Angeles.

The role involves comprehensive electrical design responsibilities, from component selection to system-level implementation. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology, designing and validating circuit boards, collaborating with the firmware team, and supporting operations. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on experience in embedded systems, power supply design, and hardware debugging.

Responsibilities For Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Design and validation of circuit boards and interconnect
  • Bringup of new designs in tandem with the firmware team
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Provide support to operations team in Los Angeles
  • Providing occasional onsite support at factory builds
  • Contribute to scalability plans

Requirements For Senior Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering field
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical systems design
  • Experience in ECAD tools (e.g. Altium, Cadence)
  • Working knowledge of Linux command line
  • Experience in debugging and testing electrical subsystems
  • Experience designing with embedded systems
  • Experience in designing DC-DC power supplies
  • Experience with high speed circuits and signal integrity measurements
  • Experience in debugging interfaces: CAN, SPI, UART, I2C, USB
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to do reworks with soldering iron down to 0402 size components
