Responsibilities For Senior Hardware Engineer, Signal and Power Integrity

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced technical solutions for complex multi-domain projects
  • Model high-density I/Os, multi-layer PCBs, flex circuits, cables, and connectors
  • Utilize industry-standard simulation tools (HSPICE, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, HFSS 3D)
  • Perform transmission line and via modeling
  • Analyze PCB layouts for Signal Integrity and Power Integrity issues
  • Provide design recommendations based on simulation results
  • Conduct simulations for memory interfaces and high-speed serial I/O
  • Optimize decoupling capacitor placement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in technical areas

Requirements For Senior Hardware Engineer, Signal and Power Integrity

  • MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Expert proficiency in 2.5D and 3D full-wave modeling
  • Extensive experience modeling interconnects
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Matlab, Python, PERL)
  • Experience in designing and developing equalizations
  • Hands-on expertise in frequency and time domain measurements
  • Experience supporting custom cables and factory builds
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
