Description For Sensor Fusion Engineer, Autonomy

Serve Robotics is at the forefront of revolutionizing urban delivery through innovative robotics technology. We're developing autonomous sidewalk robots that are transforming how deliveries are made in cities, making them more efficient and accessible while reducing street congestion. Our fleet is already making commercial deliveries in Los Angeles, delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians alike.

As a Sensor Fusion Engineer on our Autonomy team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our onboard sensor-to-obstacle pipeline. This position combines cutting-edge robotics technology with practical, real-world applications. You'll work with various sensor modalities including mono and stereo cameras, LiDAR, and other advanced sensing technologies, while diving deep into sensor optics, firmware, and calibration.

We're a team of industry veterans in software, hardware, and design, working collaboratively to build the future of autonomous delivery. Our approach combines robotics, machine learning, and computer vision with a strong focus on end-to-end user experience. The role requires strong production-level C++ expertise, with opportunities to work with CUDA, edge-device perception, and machine learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about robotics and autonomous systems who wants to make a real impact on the future of urban delivery. You'll be working with a diverse, agile team that values collaborative problem-solving and respectful communication. The position offers competitive compensation ($119K-$160K) with equity, and the flexibility of remote work, making it an attractive opportunity for talented engineers looking to shape the future of autonomous delivery technology.
