Description For Associate Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities For Associate Application Support Engineer

  • Diagnose, configure, troubleshoot, and solve problems associated with Apps in the Atlassian landscape
  • Research and identify solutions to complex application L1-L2 support issues
  • Collaborate with Development, Sustaining, and QA teams
  • Install, configure, and maintain Apps for high availability and scalability
  • Interact with global customers and troubleshoot business-critical problems
  • Participate in 24x5 global support setup activities
  • Document and share knowledge base
  • Take ownership and maintain strong customer focus

Requirements For Associate Application Support Engineer

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Available to work on rotation shifts
  • Strong communication skills including proficiency in spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of shell scripting
  • Programming skills in Java or Groovy
  • Linux and/or Windows OS administration
  • Experience with virtualization concepts
  • SQL query writing and debugging skills
  • DevOps integration knowledge
