Seven Apps is seeking a Senior Back-end Developer with Python expertise to join their innovative development team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Python-based backend applications using modern technologies like FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Heroku). You'll work with cutting-edge tools including DataDog for monitoring, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and PostgreSQL for database management. The position offers opportunities to work on GPU-intensive projects using Modal and Replicate, while maintaining high code quality through testing and clean code principles. Responsibilities For Senior Back-end Developer (Python)
- Design, develop, and maintain container-based applications
- Monitor application performance with tools like DataDog
- Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Develop bridge code for cloud environments (Replicate, Modal)
- Deploy applications to GCP App Engine, Cloud Run, and Heroku
- Write and maintain tests for your code
- Integrate projects with CICD platforms like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Requirements For Senior Back-end Developer (Python)
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
- Strong background in GitOps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Python tools (PYPI, Pyenv, Virtual Env, Pipenv, Flake8, Black)
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and familiarity with Aurora
- Basic understanding of machine learning libraries (Torch, TensorFlow)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Deep knowledge of Firebase tools and experience in writing various tests
