Sr. System Engineer

Seyond, founded in 2016, is a market leader in long range image-grade LiDAR technology for autonomous driving and other industries. With R&D teams in Silicon Valley, Suzhou, and Shanghai, Seyond's LiDAR products are designed for automotive grade applications and are used in smart transportation, rail transit, and unmanned mining.

We are seeking a Sr. System Engineer to optimize our LiDAR systems' performance. The ideal candidate will become an expert on our products, design and execute experiments, conduct product demonstrations, collaborate with internal teams, create technical documentation, provide customer support, and contribute to product development based on customer feedback.

Key responsibilities include:

• Optimizing LiDAR performance for diverse use cases
• Validating product capabilities under various conditions
• Leading training workshops and product demonstrations
• Collaborating with engineering teams to improve performance
• Creating comprehensive technical documentation
• Providing timely customer support and troubleshooting
• Analyzing customer feedback to shape product development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (with 5+ years experience), Master's (with 3+ years), or PhD in relevant field
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
• 5 years' experience with Linux and Windows OS
• Knowledge of complex optical systems (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in data processing and algorithms
