Mobile Engineer (Colombia)

Sezzle is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Mobile Engineer for their Mobile Engineer (Colombia) position. As a Software Engineer I focused on the mobile app, you'll be responsible for solving challenges in high-traffic applications, with your work directly impacting customers and products. You'll work with a React Native-based mobile app, partnering with your team to build features and products. The role involves providing support for the mobile app as a platform and collaborating with engineers from multiple teams. As your skills grow, so will the size and scope of your projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Work within the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app to build and maintain innovative product features
• Learn new areas of the product and collaborate with feature owners
• Participate in design/architecture discussions
• Contribute to code reviews and build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code
• Assist in planning, estimations, and project completion

Requirements:

• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team
• Bachelor's in computer science (preferred) or equivalent related experience
• Familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript
• React Native or React (web) experience strongly preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing and delivering mobile applications to app stores
• Knowledge of writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Familiarity with React Native Apps principles and RESTful APIs
• Experience with software engineering tools, methodologies, and release processes
