Senior Mobile Engineer (Argentina)

Sezzle is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join their team in Argentina. This role offers an incredible opportunity to make an impact within a growing FinTech company. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on the mobile app, you will be responsible for solving challenges in their highest-traffic applications, with your work having a direct impact on the product and millions of customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and building new features within the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs
• Managing releases using tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure
• Maintaining strong relationships with product, design, and business teams
• Continuously building clean, scalable, robust, and testable code
• Developing a deep working knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs

The ideal candidate will have:

• 6+ years of experience solving technical problems as part of a team
• Experience developing and delivering mobile applications to Apple and Google's app stores
• Strong familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, and building applications with React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL

Preferred skills include:

• Knowledge of writing automated tests and implementing them in a CI environment
• Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with typical microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs
• Experience working with native code on iOS and Android
