Senior Mobile Engineer LATAM

Sezzle is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer for their LATAM team. This remote role is for candidates based in Latin America. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on the mobile app, you'll be responsible for solving challenges in high-traffic applications, directly impacting the product used by millions of customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs
• Managing releases using tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure
• Maintaining strong relationships with product, design, and business teams
• Developing clean, scalable, robust, and testable code
• Gaining deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience solving technical problems as part of a team
• Experience developing and delivering mobile applications to Apple and Google's app stores
• Strong familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, and React Native or similar frameworks
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL

Preferred skills:

• Experience with automated testing and CI environments
• Backend language skills (Go, Python, Java)
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and HTTP APIs
• Experience with native code on iOS and Android
