Senior Software Engineer

Sezzle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing FinTech company. In this backend-focused role, you'll work with a highly-motivated team to tackle interesting and challenging problems across multiple areas of the organization. You'll design, develop, and deliver new features, work closely with stakeholders from Product, Support, and the business, and partner with other engineering teams to provide high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing software applications and features in Golang and React
• Building out a distributed architecture
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products
• Developing and collecting metrics for continuous improvement
• Delivering high-quality, testable features
• Leading small development teams and mentoring other engineers

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience, experience with REST APIs using Go, Java, Python or similar languages, and familiarity with distributed, cloud-based architectures. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.

This remote position offers a competitive salary range of $4,600 - $7,500 USD per month, reflecting the senior level and extensive experience required for the role.
