Sezzle, a pioneering fintech company, is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join their Infrastructure team in Bogota, Colombia. As a Site Reliability Engineer at Sezzle, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and scaling our cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include participating in on-call rotations, developing monitoring and alerting solutions, designing scalable infrastructure, and assisting product developers with production issues. This role requires a blend of software development and operations skills, with a focus on continuous automation of our environments.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with a strong foundation in microservice architecture, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. Familiarity with deployment tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible is crucial. You should be comfortable working with Golang, Python, and shell scripting, and have a good understanding of relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Be on a Pagerduty on-call rotation to respond to production incidents
  • Maintain and develop monitoring and alerting solutions to improve the on-call experience
  • Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure for running our systems
  • Assist product developers in debugging and triaging production issues
