As an Electrical Engineer at Shield AI, you'll be integral to developing state-of-the-art AI products, specifically working on the VBAT aircraft systems. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing complex system architectures, including processing, power management, analog, digital, RF, controls, sensors, and cameras. Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer

  • Own and contribute to circuit board and system designs for the VBAT and supporting equipment
  • Own and contribute to the design of specific product features while working with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to schematic capture, modeling, simulation, analysis, verification, debugging, and release to production
  • Provide feedback on status of project schedule and deliverables
  • Contribute to and attend cross-functional design reviews
  • Work closely with CAD engineering for PCB layout
  • Help develop automated test solutions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within hardware development projects

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (or graduating in 2024/2025)
  • Experience as an electrical engineer (full-time, internship, co-op, engineering club, etc.)
  • Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, and circuit testing
  • Demonstrated track record of assuming ownership over development processes
  • Proven track record of successfully shipping products
  • Demonstrated record of working hard and being a trustworthy teammate
