The role involves leading the design and integration of cutting-edge fuel systems that enhance endurance and performance for UAV platforms. You'll be responsible for optimizing mission endurance through innovative fuel storage, transfer, and pressurization solutions, while ensuring compliance with FAA and MIL-STD regulations.

Working from their Dallas office, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in propulsion, avionics, structures, and AI to develop fail-safe, redundant fuel management systems. Requirements For Lead Fuel Systems Engineer

  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace fuel systems engineering, fluid mechanics, and propulsion integration
  • Deep expertise in fuel storage, transfer, pressurization, and venting systems
  • Strong background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Proficiency in CFD tools, MATLAB, Simulink, and CAD
  • Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-810 certification standards
  • Hands-on knowledge of fuel pumps, valves, sensors, and system integration testing
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • US Citizenship required for security clearance
