The Senior Engineer, Autonomy Integration role is a crucial position within the Hivemind Systems Emerging Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new Hivemind SDK capabilities and applying them to emerging platforms and solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in C++ and Python with hands-on experience in autonomous systems development.
The position offers an attractive salary range of $158,400 - $237,600 annually, along with bonus, benefits, and equity compensation. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees) and demands expertise in complex distributed systems, modern development tools, and autonomous systems integration.

Responsibilities For Senior Engineer, Autonomy Integration
- Leverage Shield AI's autonomy software development kit to develop innovative solutions
- Integrate autonomy software on hardware platforms
- Develop specialized capabilities for emerging platforms
- Package and deploy code for various computer architectures
- Develop simulation in the loop, hardware in the loop, and vehicle in the loop tests
- Create tools for certifying code for flight readiness
- Improve the SDK by identifying gaps and working with Product Management
- Work with autonomy teams to resolve complex issues
Requirements For Senior Engineer, Autonomy Integration
- 7 years experience with Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with Master's degree; or 4 years with PhD
- Deep experience with C++14 and beyond
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with git or other modern version control systems
- Experience working in large, complex, distributed systems
- Demonstrated record of working hard and being a trustworthy teammate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
