Senior Staff Engineer, APIs & Infrastructure

As a Senior Staff Engineer for APIs & Infrastructure in the Hivemind Commander (HMC) team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the HMC Core Product. This product is a foundational, extensible set of services enabling human operators and third parties to interact with active Hivemind Edge (HME) autonomy systems and aircraft.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the HMC platform to revolutionize autonomy solution development and integration
• Building, extending, and documenting interfaces for internal and customer use
• Driving the development of a robust command and control software development kit (SDK)
• Developing and maintaining test and distribution capabilities within CI/CD pipelines

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience developing large, production-quality software systems
• Expertise in modern C++ (C++17 and beyond)
• Professional experience in Linux environments
• Experience with Git and code management tools
• A demonstrated record of hard work, trustworthiness, high standards, and kindness

Preferred qualifications include experience in aerospace/robotics industries, command and control systems for UAVs, international interoperability standards like STANAG4586, team leadership, and SDK development.
