As a Staff Electrical CAD Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing advanced V-BAT and next-generation Class 5 UAV technology. This position demands expertise in PCB layout and design, working within a fast-paced avionics team. You'll be responsible for designing high-quality PCBs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring manufacturability of designs.

The role offers competitive compensation ($143,473 - $215,210) plus additional benefits including bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities For Staff Electrical CAD Engineer

  • Design high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for integration into advanced avionics systems
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop mixed-signal, high-speed, and high-reliability designs
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure designs comply with Design-for-Manufacturability principles
  • Manage and prioritize tasks based on guidance from leadership
  • Set strategic priorities with minimal oversight
  • Manage library component creation and maintenance of design systems

Requirements For Staff Electrical CAD Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of PCB design experience, or 10+ years experience without degree
  • Expertise in designing high-density and high-speed PCBs
  • Strong proficiency in signal integrity methodologies
  • Experience in designing for low noise and minimizing EMI/EMC interference
  • Understanding of design principles for manufacturability, assembly, and testability
