Their primary product, Hivemind autonomy software, powers various aircraft and drones for complex military missions. The company is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join their team in Washington D.C.

The role involves working with critical defense technology infrastructure, managing and integrating autonomy solutions across various environments. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining DevOps practices in both cloud and air-gapped environments, working with cutting-edge AI and autonomy systems. The position requires extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly with C++ and Python applications in Linux environments.

Responsibilities For Staff Engineer, DevOps (R3178)

  • Work with a small team of engineers and administrators
  • Integrate autonomy, AI factory, and tooling into new and existing cloud or air-gapped, on prem environments
  • Support CI/CD between various isolated environments
  • Manage JFrog/Artifactory storing of multiple language and generic artifacts
  • Ensure proper validation and deployment of autonomy, AI factory, and tooling
  • Coordinate with engineering and test teams to build and meet requirements
  • Solve challenging and important problems

Requirements For Staff Engineer, DevOps (R3178)

  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with the Atlassian suite, GitLab, ADO, or similar DevOps environment
  • Experience supporting C++ or Python-based applications
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, similar degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience debugging/troubleshooting deployed, distributed problems
  • Must be available to support onsite in Crystal City and surrounding NOVA area
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
