Description For Engineer (2), Data

As a Backend Engineer at Showpad, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting innovative solutions that transform the creation, organization, and distribution of sales content. Catering to Sales Enablement specialists and Marketing Content Owners, you'll harness cutting-edge technologies to continuously elevate our platform, maximizing its impact on our users.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the development and enhancement of backend features
  • Delivering high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
  • Designing and implementing cloud-native software solutions
  • Participating in the entire software development lifecycle
  • Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality
  • Optimizing application performance and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems

Requirements:

  • Team player
  • 3+ years of experience as a Backend developer
  • Extensive experience with backend programming languages such as NodeJS, PHP, or Kotlin
  • Ability to comprehend simple to complex (cloud) architectures and define improvements
  • Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Experience with the agile way of working

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with digital asset management and content management
  • Appetite to learn and help with frontend features (using Angular)
