Showpad, founded in 2011, is seeking a Full Stack Backend Engineer to join their App Studio team, an innovation-focused group building apps and solutions on top of their core platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment.
The position involves working with a modern tech stack entirely written in TypeScript, utilizing Angular and React for frontend development, and AWS serverless architecture for backend operations. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining apps, integrations, and automations while collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements and identify new opportunities.
As part of a high-performing, self-starting team, you'll own the complete development lifecycle of applications from conception to deployment. The role requires expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, with a strong focus on cloud-native development using AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and more.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Backend Engineer
- Own the apps and solutions we build from start to end ('you build it you run it'), together with the team
- Collaborate with customers, professional services consultants, engineering teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify new app ideas and features
- Design, develop, maintain, support, test and release features, apps, integrations and automations with a strong focus on quality
- Continuously improve solutions and services to improve and ensure quality, improve operational efficiency or integrate new technologies and features
Requirements For Full Stack Backend Engineer
- Experience with front end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern javascript front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
- Experience with back end languages, preferably NodeJS
- Experience with cloud-native development, preferably AWS, and infrastructure-as-code
- Solid experience with API's
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A keen eye for quality, minimizing complexity, and a 'right tool for the job' mentality
- Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies and tackle additional responsibilities
