Senior Engineer

As a Senior Engineer at Showpad, you'll focus on driving innovation for new functionalities and optimizing existing codebase. You'll have full autonomy and ownership over your work, ensuring well-architected solutions including code functionality, test automation, scalability, and monitoring. You'll join a team building and maintaining the Showpad platform, which serves thousands of companies and hundreds of thousands of sellers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working on projects like bringing transcriptions, summaries, and intelligent suggestions to customer libraries in the Content management domain
• Developing new identity types in the IAM domain
• Solving complex problems and building performant, scalable, low latency, and highly available services
• Actively participating in an autonomous team, deciding on team-related items
• Collaborating with product and design teams
• Designing and implementing architecture for new features

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing scalable, production-ready solutions
• Experience with Typescript, Kotlin, or Java-based coding languages
• API design and implementation experience
• Cloud computing experience (AWS preferred)
• Docker/Kubernetes experience
• Strong software testing skills and advocacy for test-driven development
• Continuous integration and delivery mindset
• Ownership mentality and curiosity to learn

Bonus skills:

• CMS domain expertise
• Experience with Go
