In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to develop high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend systems. Your expertise in Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Postgres, Hibernate, MongoDB, and Kafka will be crucial in driving best design practices and creating modular, reusable libraries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving best design practices in both high-level and low-level design
- Developing scalable and fault-tolerant systems capable of handling high load
- Managing, guiding, and unblocking team members
- Writing modular, reusable libraries for use across multiple functions
- Collaborating with various internal teams and facilitating SDLC processes

Responsibilities For Senior Backend Developer
- Drive best design practices in the team, both HLD and LLD, OOPS
- Ability to drive decisions backed by reasoning
- Develop scalable, fault tolerant systems capable of handling high load
- Manage, guide and unblock team members
- Write modular, reusable libraries which can be used across multiple functions
- Work together with members of various internal teams, including listening and communicating
- Facilitate the working of the team in SDLC processes
Requirements For Senior Backend Developer
- Proficiency in Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Postgres, Hibernate, MongoDB, Kafka
- Experience with working on a distributed system
- Familiarity with modern programming practices and concepts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile, release-often environment
- Understanding of the SDLC processes
- Strong execution skills: Gets things done independently and collaboratively
- Passion: Interest in our business domain (Retail), solution space (Retail Technology), or technology stack
