SICE ANZ is offering an exciting opportunity for recent software and engineering graduates to join their team working on the West Gate Tunnel Project based in Footscray. This is a unique entry-level opportunity for those who have graduated within the last two years or are in their final year of tertiary studies.
The role is part of the testing team working on the delivery of the Operations Management and Control System (OMCS) and related ITS for the West Gate Tunnel project. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing test cases to ensure software implementation meets requirements
- Collaborating with development teams on technical requirements
- Executing test cases and creating defects in the management system
- Working with design and development teams on defect resolution
- Testing all aspects of SICE's delivery for the project
- Creating and executing manual and automated test cases
- Reviewing technical documentation
The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduated in the last two years or be in the final year of studies in a relevant engineering field
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems architecture (highly desirable)
- Programming skills in .NET, Python or Javascript
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Experience in test management software (desirable)
- Ability to work on-site and in shared rosters/shift-work
- Excellent communication skills
