An exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to join a worldwide leading system integrator in tolling, ITS & tunnel management systems design, development and deployment.
The Support & Maintenance Engineer will be involved in the ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring and continuous upgrading of the Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS) and sub systems in operation for SICE clients. This role is a level 1 support function and will require you to work closely with SICE level 2 and level 3 support teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preventative/Corrective maintenance and monitoring of the Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS) and Integrated Operation Management and Control Systems (IOMCS) already in operation.
- Coordination with clients, stakeholders and operators in supporting the SIDERA managed motorways.
- Investigation and rectification of issues and defects in the systems using SICE's Service Management tool.
- Investigation and root cause analysis of complex problems impacting PLC and sub systems.
- Assist with implementation or testing of SICE projects under S&M scope.
- Release and Deployment: Installation and deployment of new system software releases.
- Application Testing: Performing regression testing for system or application upgrades.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in IT, Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in relevant roles is desired but not essential.
- SQL Certification or equivalent experience or knowledge.
- ITIL Certification (Desired but not essential).
- Knowledge of MS SQL databases, SQL queries and commands.
- Previous experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence) or another Service Management tool is desirable.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
