Staff Cloud Platform Engineer- Core Infra

Sift, an AI-powered fraud platform, is seeking a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Core Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing the data, infrastructure, messaging, and services platform that powers Sift's online systems. The position offers a competitive compensation range of $164.2K – $222.2K and includes comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform services or SRE roles, with deep expertise in cloud technologies, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing fault-tolerant, multi-region systems, ensuring high availability and performance of Sift's primary storage systems.

Working with a modern tech stack including GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and various programming languages (Java, Python, Ruby), you'll tackle complex challenges related to data volume and request rates. The role involves building self-healing systems, optimizing workflows, and participating in on-call rotations.
