We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Engineer with a proven track record of excellent problem solving capabilities and a strong background in designing, testing, and refactoring legacy code. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with PHP and be adept at simplifying complex systems, ensuring high performance, and maintaining robust, clean, and efficient codebases.
Responsibilities include:
- Tackle complex problems with innovative solutions
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality PHP applications
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests
- Analyze, refactor, and optimize legacy code
- Conduct code reviews
- Maintain clear documentation
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and implement improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proficient in PHP, with deep understanding of frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony)
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong experience in designing and implementing unit tests
- Expertise in refactoring legacy code and simplifying complex systems
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Preferred previous experience with HL7 and FHIR
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
