Responsibilities For 1456 - Mechanical Engineer
- Support programs related to Army electronic warfare systems
- Work in an informal, multidisciplinary team environment
- Design, develop, support fabrication, and test mechanical components
- Conduct product testing and support creation of models and prototypes
- Collaborate cross functionally with Software and/or EE Engineers
- Provide engineering support for testing, product deployment, and updates
- Occasional travel will be required to support newly deployed products (CONUS)
Requirements For 1456 - Mechanical Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering/development of electro-mechanical systems
- Able to direct a team of machinists and equipment integrators
- Direct experience with machining and welding equipment
- Very experienced in using SolidWorks
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
