Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, and network systems as they pertain to real time data transport across Wide and Global Area Networks. The ideal candidate should have experience with multicast User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and be able to programmatically manage global operational network fix actions, integration efforts, technical insertion roadmaps, and the optimization of transport infrastructure.
The role requires familiarity with Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems as they pertain to the Department of Defense, Air Force, and US Special Operations Command. In-depth knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency and understanding of requirements process, acquisition, and execution is essential.

The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience with UAV, satellite terminals, ground-based satellite broadcast/multicast architectures, network engineering, cybersecurity, and network operations. Experience leading geographically separated teams and cloud experience (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
