Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer - VC Backed Startups

SignalFire, a venture capital firm managing 200+ innovative portfolio companies, is seeking exceptional Staff Full-Stack Engineers for their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and scaling web applications across the full stack, with expertise in both frontend and backend development. You'll be responsible for designing and developing full-stack applications, building scalable APIs and microservices, and establishing best practices for code quality and testing.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you should be proficient in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend technologies including Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization, and both SQL and NoSQL databases is essential.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams, aligning technical strategy with business goals. You'll be instrumental in optimizing applications for scalability, performance, and security, while mentoring other team members and establishing engineering best practices.

The technology stack is diverse and modern, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, various frontend and backend frameworks, cloud services, and modern DevOps tools. You'll work with both relational and NoSQL databases, and have the opportunity to implement modern architectural patterns using microservices and cloud-native technologies.
